  I can't say I was really impressed with this place. Old and run down though kept up to a level of cleanness that's satisfactory. The restaurant wasn't open . I was told they were on holiday, I'm assuming the owners. Everyone needs a break, but something should have been done to continue the service. The internet didn't work and seems the Modem had lost it's IP address. I'm sure a simple fix, but hadn't seems to be monitored. I don't like giving poor reviews, but I believe there is a lot better choices in the area. Work had organised the room for me and said the reviews on Trip adviser and online pictures and services looked good. So my expectations had a level to match that.

  Comfortable place to stay we had breakf as st in their resturaunt they had a glutenfree option for breakfast

  Very clean and newly freshly renovated. Friendly staff. Lovely quiet area and 2 quick blocks from the CBS and all amenities you need. It's 40 years since I have visited this area and the natural progression of the city is pleasingly modern and contemporary. I will be back.

  Rooms are lovely and the price was very reasonable. My trailer was accommodated with no fuss, even though I just turned up on the day requesting a room. To top it all of, my trailer was unhitched and pushed into the parking space and hitched back to my car when I left, without me even asking for help. I really appreciated the help as a female travelling on my own. I would recommend this motel to anyone and will be using them again if I am ever in Townsville again.

  If I could rate -1000 I would. Had initially booked for 7 days. Had to cancel the booking after staying there one night. First room had mosquitoes in there as the window wouldn't shut properly, a nice staff member changed our rooms however that didn't stop the fact that there were fleas or some bugs in the next room.Couldn't sleep because of itching all night, both my partner and I are covered in bites. The manager apologised briefly and said she wouldn't charge for the night and cancel the booking without charge however didn't seem very apologetic as she just seemed to want me gone so the man checking in at the time of discussing the issues would not hear - she said she would fix it up and dismissed me. Had to find a motel last minute and not only do we have to wash all 'no longer clean' clothes again, take antihistamines, buy creams but probably fumigate our car, oh and we are still covered in bites! Welcome to Townsville courtesy of Comfort Inn Roberts Town! Unhygienic and disgraceful!!!! PS The volume of bites my partner and I have both sustained in one night means it's not just a couple of bugs, fumigation is required!!!!! I personally would do the decent humane thing and fumigate before renting the rooms out to anyone!!!!!!!
